Grinning manically at Heathrow Airport for the launch event with Jamie Lang (for those of you who have managed to avoid the TV show, he's on the right...)

Smiles all round from the Hendrick's Occasional XI under the Oxfordshire sunshine, shortly after being on the receiving end of a narrow defeat. Full tour write ups in the link to the right

Good writer. Experienced creative. Sub-par cricketer.
Most recently I’ve been working as a Copy Lead for Entain, a tech-driven entertainment company specialising in gaming and sports betting. As well as sharpening the pencil to craft plenty of copy, I've led the development of creative campaigns across four flagship brands – Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala and Foxy Bingo – collaborating with a crack team of graphic and motion designers to bring some pretty eclectic ideas to life.
As a freelance and in-house copywriter, I’ve also worked with retail, automotive, events and theatre companies in my career – including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s LW Theatres, Audi, WHSmith and Robert Dyas.
Before making the full-time move to copywriting I spent over four years working in FMCG retail, managing the buying and commercial strategy across a number of departments at WHSmith Travel. Whether you've bought a last-minute birthday card in your local train station or grabbed a cheeky pre-flight Mars bar in an airport, the chances are I was at least partly responsible for getting it there.

Something a bit different
For the past few years my friends and I have thrown ourselves into an ill-advised but highly enjoyable campaign to prolong the life of our on-again-off-again nomadic cricket team, which lurches from season to season with varying measures of success. Over time we’ve accumulated an ever-swelling stockpile of amusing and unconventional tales which I have shamelessly embellished and chalked up on our website for wider consumption. If you enjoy reading about ramshackle, amateur sportsmanship, click here: http://hendricksxi.weebly.com/history.html
I've also invested time and effort attempting to justify my spending on albums and gigs by publishing reviews of new music and live shows from across London, which you can read more of here: https://doubleumusicblog.wordpress.com/
To round off this indulgent plugging of my back catalogue, you can follow the link below to read about the dizzying adventure my best friend and I had when we visited Moscow in the dead of winter. It’s a travel write up that covers some of the lesser known aspects of modern life in the Russian capital - an eye-opening and unexpected account of their after-hours, underground culture: http://thereandjustaboutbackagain.blogspot.co.uk/
